Olympic & double World Champion
Karolien Florijn is the daughter of Olympic champion Ronald Florijn and sister of Finn Florijn. She won silver in the four-without at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, then moved to single sculling — taking World Championship titles in 2022 and 2023. In Paris 2024 she became the first Dutch woman ever to win Olympic gold in the single scull.
